Color lithograph, title "Corsa delle Tartarughe", signed, format 70 x 50 cm. I met the artist from Lucca in 1995 at the Rutzmoser Gallery, Munich.
He also provided me with an original sketch for Nicola Micieli's large illustrated book "Possenti" (see next picture) and said that turtles often appear in his work and that he keeps several of them in his garden. The great fountain “Fontana delle Tartarughe” in Rome comes to mind, with an interesting story about the turtle sculptures depicted.
