This is my most interesting book on the primal phenomenon of the turtle, a magnificent opus of 424 pages (see also the illustration of 3 further pages) and contains photos of 15 objects from my collection. The author studied philosophy and psychology and has researched for a long time into the design processes of vibrations, sounds and music (this has resulted in two wonderful books, see Internet). The book contains an enormous amount of knowledge about the global diversity of meanings of turtles, including in art, literature and mythology, with countless illustrations of great aesthetics. The bibliography alone is enormous. In addition, interesting contacts were made, including with Dr. hc. Honegger, Anna-Maria Bauer and Elke Wallrapp (see also my thanks to him in the extensive catalogue for the Virtual Turtle Museum).
