This work was created during the second visit to the summer academy in Neuburg/Donau, under the excellent guidance of the sculptor Herman Bigelmayr. After last year's experience, I quickly decided on a stately birch tree, which I cut in half and cut to a height of 2.4 m in order to save space. I used the natural branch extensions for this Carving out 9 turtles. The bark of the trunk was deliberately used as a design element. The work is in the stairwell near my front door.
