Stories and music for children. For Michael Ende's fable "Tranquilla Trampeltreu" Wilfried Hiller composed five little turtle marches and a turtle boogie (1981, 44 minutes). According to Carl Orff, they are breaking new ground in musical theater for children. In "Carnival of the Animals" there is, among other things, a separate piece for giant tortoises (2007, 77 min.). In Loriot (text, illustration and narrator) "the mealworm throws to the Parisian Turtle ballet Kußhändchen zu" (1985, 57 min.) and for "The Teddy and the Animals" (M. Ende) W. Hiller composed, among other things, a turtle boogie (1991, 31 min.). The year numbers refer to the year of release of the CDs I have. On Wilfried Hiller's 85th birthday, a wonderful concert took place in April 2026 in his presence at the Orff Center in Munich, including the premiere of his work "The Star Seller" (based on the fairy tale of the same name by Alexander Kostinskij).
