Gifts from Reinhard Grüner and his wife Cornelia Göbel range from Italian silk ties to paper clips (often flea market finds). The Munich collector, author and curator (we feel like kindred spirits) has what is probably the most important private collection of artists' books in Germany. He is a committed member of the Pirckheimer Society in Berlin ("for collectors and other crazy people") and has signed a donation agreement with the Grassi Museum in Leipzig (he also arranged a small contact with you, Dr. Thormann). This museum houses three museums of international standing, the Museum of Ethnology being particularly interesting for me. The huge collection there also includes applied art and musical instruments (including a shaman's drum from the Hezhe/Amur region, to give a completely different example). Cross reference: in the "musical instruments" category in my collection you can also find interesting objects (didgeridoo, lyre, gong, drums, etc.).
