Gifts from Reinhard Grüner and his wife Cornelia Göbel range from Italian silk ties to paper clips (often flea market finds). The Munich collector, author and curator (we feel like we're kindred spirits) has what is probably the most important private collection of artists' books in Germany. He is a committed member of the Pirckheimer Gesellschaft Berlin ("for collectors and other crazy people") and has concluded a donation agreement with the Grassi Museum Leipzig (he also arranged a small contact with Dr. Thormann). This houses three museums of international standing, the Museum of Ethnology being particularly interesting to me. The huge collection there also includes applied art and musical instruments (including a shaman's drum from the Hezhe ethnic group, called Nanai in Russia, Amur region), to give a completely different example). Cross reference: in the category "Musical Instruments" are also in my collection to find interesting objects ("Search: didgeridoo, lyre, gong, drum" etc.).
